Gruppo Euromobil: great industrial know-how paired with Made in Italy handicraft quality
Within a time span of fifty years, Gruppo Euromobil launched Euromobil (that produces kitchens) in 1972, purchased Zalf (that produces furnishing systems) in 1974 and Désirée (that produces sofas) in 1995, thus being able to furnish any space in the home, building its success on its ability to anticipate trends in collaboration with international designers.
Founded on the entrepreneurial vision of the four Lucchetta brothers, the group has been able to combine exceptional industrial know-how with the quality craftsmanship of the Made in Italy mark. The story of a family, of design, research and innovation and of lasting development with an international imprint.
1972
Euromobil
In 1972 the Lucchetta brothers purchased the site of a former factory on a plot of 17,000 square meters, with a 4000 square meters structure to be finished. This factory had been completely renovated to house the new machinery for the serial production of kitchens and it is still the seat of Euromobil
1974
Zalf
The company Zalf had been founded in 1974 from the previous structure. At that time Zalf was a reality of 3500 square meters on 10,000 square meters of land, but the whole production line had been rebuilt ex novo with a substantial investment. The company had established itself immediately in the sector of children's rooms, production area in which it is still a leading company, to open in the early eighties also in the area of the living room with container systems, cabinets, bookcase and solutions for the office.
1985
Euronews
In 1985, the Group decided to invest in the publication "Euronews", name that meant to convey a strong message of change and emphasize the cultural and production transformation of the company. The subtitle of the head, “Arredamento, Arte, Informazione, Sport” ("Furniture, Art, Information, Sport"), marked the Group's interests and future investments. "Euronews" have been published until 2000 and distributed to six thousand customers, dealers and suppliers.
1990
Expansion of production structures
In the late eighties and the beginning of the next decade, Euromobil Group announced the expansion of production structures. Zalf in 1990 reached 15,000 square meters of buildings. This expansion was the consequence of the overall reorganization of the production cycle which, with new numerical control machines, has doubled the daily production. In Euromobil, instead, beside the production shed, a new structure to house the showroom, the new warehouse and project office that covers a total area of 26,000 square meters had been built.
1995
Désirée
In 1995, Euromobil Group acquired Désirée, a company in the sector of upholstery located in Tezze di Piave, which existed since 1968. This reality, whose name has been kept, enjoyed a good image in the market, but the factory had a craftsmanship feature.
For this reason, Désirée has been the subject of a complex reorganization both of production facilities, and of logics management, distribution and sale. This process has been gradual over the years and coincided in the late Nineties, with the expansion and renovation of production facilities.
2002
Showroom Inauguration
The new showroom inside the factory at Falzè di Piave (Treviso) was inaugurated in 2002. This space aim is to present the Group's products to retailers. In the showroom is of crucial importance the workshop area dedicated to Multisystem Project, which shows the sample of all the top, backs, doors and wall elements samples. These may be taken together and housed in a suitable cabinet, which consists of a structural skeleton and that allows to visualize the effect of their combination.
2009
Publication of the monography
The history of Lucchetta brothers and their companies, but also of their singular adventure in the world of art, sport and design, is told in a book published by Skira entitled “Gruppo Euromobil, un’impresa di design tra arte e sport”. The book, which contains, among others, the signatures of Andrea Zanzotto, Philippe Daverio, Aldo Colonetti, Valentina Croci, Marco Goldin, Giampaolo Ormezzano Mauro Pecchenino, Ignazio Roiter, is accompanied by wonderful pictures by Fulvio Roiter. Euromobil Group represents a "case" probably unique in Italy and perhaps in Europe of a medium-sized company that believed in culture so much that it becomes the main instrument of its international marketing.

2020
Flagship Corso Monforte 30/3, Milan
Euromobil’s first flagship store was opened on 10th June 2020 in Corso Monforte 30/3 in Milan. The concept behind the project, created by the renowned Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez studio, is focused on the room that has always been considered the hub of every home: the kitchen.
The new “home” in Milan features a concept-design governed by lightness, transparency and flexibility: spaces have been studied to put the kitchens in the limelight, creating unexpected settings while respecting some of the architectural rules typical of the culture of the Veneto region. All this has been made over in a contemporary key.
Visually devoid of partitions, the store is designed on 2 floors, totalling 300 square metres. One of them is a basement, where skilfully enhanced natural light plays an essential role, along with materials and neutral volumes, ensuring lightness and versatility. In addition to this, a delightful courtyard is an extra asset for events and initiatives in the summer.
2021
New Euromobil Showroom
Quintessential beauty describes the place in which Euromobil presents its kitchens and more: the company has opened its new company showroom in Via Circonvallazione 21 in Falzé di Piave, in the province of Treviso, consisting of an open space covering 900 square metres. This area has been specifically created without inside walls, and showcases the versatility of models that become authentic modular systems capable of creating “rooms inside rooms” (take Kabinspace for instance). Fitting solutions with a distinctive identity offer users of residential or professional spaces the chance to create storage volumes that suit their personal lifestyles, requirements and budgets, putting an end to the common restrictions imposed by structural elements and obstacles.
2022
New Zalf Showroom
Furniture systems become architectural structures that can be used in all areas of the home according to new living styles.
Design that creates space.
In keeping with this philosophy, Zalf in September 2022 has opened its new company showroom in Falzè di Piave: 600 square metres on 2 floors.
The space features calibrated perpendicular lines with a warm pale colour for the different surfaces, with an enveloping and uniform effect: micro-cement for the floors and a lime-based finish for the walls and ceilings.
The absence of partition walls highlights the “Design that Generates space” concept. Spaces are fluid and functions are defined by the furniture.
The ground floor houses the SpaceMakers Home collection, whereas the first floor is dedicated to SpaceMakers Young.
2022
New Désirée Showroom
The new Désirée company showroom, opened in September 2022, covers a space of 900 square metres on one floor. The concept is to highlight the direct, and also physical, connection of the exhibition hall with the production site. Hence the decision to create a high-tech industry mood, which is naturally reflected in the choice of the display and the style.
Alongside the novelties by Désirée in 2022, which confirm long-standing partnerships with famous designers such as Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, Marc Sadler, Setsu and Shinobu Ito, and Jai Jalan, we can find some historical items. The exhibition is organised according to product islands and settings.
The Euromobil Group’s commitment to supporting art, culture and young people is reflected in all corporate decisions. In 2007, as the main sponsor of Arte Fiera Bologna the Euromobil Group promoted the first edition of the ‘Premio Internazionale Gruppo Euromobil under 30’ (Euromobil Group Under 30 International Award) reserved for young artists.
The winning works from the 12 editions of the award are on display in the showroom, demonstrating the Group's commitment.
